Service Sales Specialist – ABB

Tasks:
Your main responsibilities will include:-
1. Market Analysis:
• Ensure market information is correctly mapped and recorded based on the market development.
• Identifying market segments & channels & Setting targets for each market segment.
• Translate the needs of the customers into relevant ABB service offerings.
• Develop the new and potential customers.

2. Sales:
• To create implement and review local sales strategies.
• Initiate and enhance sales strategies embracing value based sales technique.
• Lead generation through regular customer visits, offer preparation, regular follow ups.
• Promoting Substation assessment to various industries and utility customers in UAE.
• Portfolio consists of extensions, retrofit and overhauling of existing ABB installed base, maintenance contracts,Trainings, project related spare parts, Cable services, etc.
• Understand the needs of the customers and provide ABB Service solutions accordingly.
• Develop knowledge about ABB products and services offerings in order to facilitate the service offerings with the customers.
• Run the negotiations with the customers and secure the business within agreed margin ensuring high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Mapping of sales leads and opportunities in ABB sales force tool.
• You will be given the sales target at the beginning of year and same will be the used as measure of your performance in the organization.
• Chart out the targeted opportunities monthly and quarterly to ensure the sales activities are in line with the department budget.
• Ensure on time receipt of payments from customers.
• Knowledge about commercial terms and conditions, including, LC’s Bonds, LD’s third party Liabilities, Insurance, Indemnification, Consequential losses etc.

Requirements:
Ideally you will hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with good techno commercial knowledge in substation service business and have a flair for sales with 8-10 years of experience.Apart from this, you should be able to present the service portfolio to customer with fluency in spoken and written English.
