Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the sales and margin in the region, while hiring, developing and motivating a successful team of Country Sales Managers to achieve their quota and objectives.

As part of the Regional management team, the role is the sales leadership and development of a stable, talented, successful and motivated country sales team. The position will require the maintenance of existing accounts and a targeted and driven focus of new customer acquisitions across the given country. The role will involve travel, evenings away from home and aggressive sales targets with quarterly objectives.

This position will only suit a focused and strong sales leader who can prove a successful sales background managing people and customers within the auto Id or supply chain solutions industries.

Responsibilities:
Manage and develop the sales team across the given region
Responsible for sales and margin for the region
Develop country sales plans whilst increasing the market share
Foster a team environment based on sound business judgment, problem solving and leadership
Lead by example
Prepare personal development plans and reviews for staff ensuring that local HR laws are adhered to at all times
Ensuring the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets and management based objectives that will be communicated from time to time
Provide accurate and timely forecasts
Drive a team to keep the CRM (SFDC) system up to date with all sales related activity
Understand matrix and functional management and work with team members and peers to drive a common goal
To embrace and deliver change to the business is a positive, understanding and forward thinking manner if even, on occasion, you personally may not fully agree with the changes
To be involved as an integral part of the sales team and a closer of major opportunities
Ensure visibility on field by establishing long term business relationships with major business partners and participating in the major sales opportunities
A part of sales team management tasks and country objectives, he/she will also run his/her personal and specific account plan and objectives

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
Business degree and/or engineering degree preferred. MBA is a plus
Successful and demonstrable track record of sales achievement
Experience managing sales and sales team in the territory
Minimum 10 years continuous, proven and successful sales teams leadership experience in the auto ID / Supply Chain solution sectors and/or equivalent or parallel
Is able to demonstrate and articulate the benefits of two tier distribution for a partner community
Must be fluent in the business and social use of the primary regional language and English
Strong sales management skills including thorough knowledge of the sales process and strategic techniques to achieve objectives

Personnel Specification:
The ability to make regular travels through the given country as the business and opportunities demand – occasionally at short notice

Ambitious, self motivated, hard working, result orientated, problem solver with a positive outlook and a clear focus on achieving commitments
Balanced between short term achievement and long term development
Experience in working with processes to get the necessary approvals related to the sales activity to ensure team dynamism
Someone who can demonstrate and articulate the difference between good and bad business opportunities
A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance
Mature, credible, highly professional, and comfortable in dealing with individuals at very senior levels
A team player with clear leadership qualities
Someone who remains calm in high pressure environments

Understanding and articulate basic business finance terms and the necessity for financial control
The ability to prepare a business plan that includes financials, marketing and staffing justifications

Arabic, English and French speakers are preferred

Experience in managing sales team for both direct and indirect model
