Regional Security Coordinator – Siemens AG

The Regional Security Coordinator will contribute to the security of Siemens personnel, installations and information within the Middle East Region. He/she would support/advise regional management in implementing and complying with the requirements of the Regional Security Officer and act as a contact for all security-related issues within the region.

What are my responsibilities?
Security Assessments and Travel Security
Identify and assess country-specific security risks and related vulnerabilities of Siemens in cooperation with GM SEC specialist departments.
Ensure the implementation of GM SEC travel regulations and tool.
When necessary, ensure the security awareness of travelers and provision of adequate security measures for his/her travel.
Property Protection and Project Security

Categorize sites into protection classes as per GM SEC policies in coordination with the business units.
Identify and protect sensitive projects from a know-how perspective.
Develop and implement security concepts and plans for projects.
Personal security and event protection

Provide security assistance and support for international delegates.
Provide security assistance for VIP visits and implementation of the corresponding security concept in cooperation with the Regional Security Officer and GM SEC.
Crisis management

Implement and train the Regional Crisis Team.
Develop and implement crisis plans and procedures for the region.
Manage crisis and incidents involving the regional entities.

Support the Regional Security Officer in any other field of GM SEC, such as ACP and OPERA, investigations, situational assessment and analysis and other topics as required.
Develop and maintain contact with local security and military authorities, local security providers/consultants, counterparts of other companies, embassies and other entities.
Implement awareness raising measures for information security in close cooperation with the IT InfoSec organization representative within the region.
Raise staff awareness on important security issues.

What do I need to apply?
Good command of English (spoken and written). Arabic/Persian is an advantage.
In depth knowledge of the main security issues in the region.
Networking skills (internally within the region and externally with authorities, institutions and other entities).
Relevant experience in corporate security.
Sense of law and ethics.
