This position is responsible for managing the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Service Center and to ensure that all DME for both our inpatient and outpatient needs are satisfied on a timely basis with excellent customer service experience in line with CCAD mission statement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the development and implementation of the DME Service Center with continuous improvement towards achieving the highest customer service satisfaction.
Coordinate with the category manager for DME supplies to ensure availability of stocks and equipment at all times.
Complement with the approved DME Retail outlet at CCAD to provide a seamless DME delivery service for our patients.
Ensure that all DME provided to our patients are approved and endorsed by the respective subject matter experts.
Manage the DME inventory to ensure that all requests from internal clinical caregivers are being fulfilled on a timely basis.
Ensure all DME items and supplies are updated in Lawson on daily basis and provide monthly status report to the DC manager.
Identify areas of opportunities in the DME supply chain processes and recommend process improvement initiatives.
Be the central point of contact for take home medical supplies in support of both the inpatient and outpatient requirements.
Track all DME products that are on loan to patients if applicable, to ensure they are properly accounted for.
