HR Specialist, Mediclinic Middle East, Dubai

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for driving the implementation of key strategic initiatives at a corporate level. Performance/talent management as well as employee engagement are key focuses of this role. The HR Specialists works closely with all Unit HR Departments to continuously ensure consistency and standardization of key HR processes across the group.

A minimum of 5 years’ senior HR experience preferably within a healthcare environment with a Bachelors in Human Resources, Psychology or the equivalent, a Masters is preferred

Good working knowledge of the U.A.E. Labour Law is preferable

Ability to represent the Human Resource function as an integral part of the business and to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Strong professional integrity with a focus on confidentiality and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. High attention to detail with strong numeric and reporting ability is required

Fluency in written and spoken English with Arabic being well regarded

Good computer literacy (MS office) and previous experience working with HR Systems

Ability to function effectively under pressure, working in fast paced and ambiguous environments

A professional and commercial approach to HR with the ability to think strategically

Key Outputs
Lead the implementation of HR new practice including but not limited to career development, strategic recruitment and performance management

Lead/support/assist in Mediclinic International (MCI) HR Steering Committee with Group human resource initiatives where applicable ensuring implementation and roll out on the Middle East platform

Support HR operations at all Mediclinic Middle East Units ensuring stanadardisation of processes

Support a transparent and competitive recruitment and selection process by assisting with the update and creation of job descriptions and job evaluations

Elaborate and implement a sound process for performance management including but not limited to the creation of competencies, job descriptions and performance indicators/KPIs in conjunction with the relevant Head of Departments

Support the performance management process with education material and or training of Line Managers were required on the review/appraisal process ensuring the same is used as an effective tool in career development

Lead/drive/support human resource system enhancements and/or new system implementation from a Group perspective managing the change process with all stakeholders

Continuous review of the existing HR policies and procedures in conjunction with the Unit HR Managers ensuring current policies are up to date and in line with current employment law

Manage talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for Senior Management career development
