Head of Business Development – twofour54 – Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose
Work closely with the Director of Business Development in creating and maintaining new business and market position for twofour54 for meeting the commercial and strategic objectives and assist in the overall growth and development of the twofour54.

Duties & Responsibilities
Developing, articulating, communicating and presenting a clear vision, strategy and action plan, policy and procedures for the Business Development department
Devising strategies for driving sales growth, managing and delivering target revenues
Implementing new initiatives to measure and boost sales team’s performance
Setting achievable targets for the business development managers and sales executives
Formulating department’s budget and expenditure plans
Enhancing sales and revenues and boost market positioning
Working closely with the members of the team to generate new business with large accounts and ensuring their retention as clients
Evaluating new opportunities to ensure resources focus on the best opportunities
Negotiating sales contracts with customers and ensuring their profitability
Reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual performance and financial reports, and implementing an action plan to address any shortfalls in performance and revenue
Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing networks
Oversee and successfully manage third-party relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure objectives and desired outcomes are achieved
Monitoring competitors and reviewing twofour54’s offering in light of competitors developments and manage it accordingly to improve market position
Lead and direct Business Development and Property Management team to add value to Partners relationships within the Zone
Ensure that the team develops and operates with a culture of the best practice that is sustainable
Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure best service delivery
Compiling monthly, quarterly and annual sales performance reports for the Senior Management Team

Education, Experience & Skills
Expertise in Strategic Planning and Business Development
Expertise in negotiations, deal-making and contracts
Expertise in creating and implementing successful, targeted sales strategies
Strong business and financial acumen
10+ years’ experience in Business Development, Marketing and Sales
Successful track record of developing and leading high performance teams
Successful record of achievement in business development and brand marketing
Broad media industry experience, though not mandatory, will be highly regarded
Experience in pan territory/regional marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant subject
