The college of Engineering is looking to hire a full time Research Assistant (RA) in the research group of Medical Electronics.
The RA will be responsible to provide subject-specific research expertise and undertake specific research work to support the research group and team. The RA is also expected to disseminate research outcomes in reputable conferences and journals.
The idea candidate should have the following Essential (E) / Desirable (D) criteria:
Applicant must hold a first degree in Electrical/Electronic/Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field with excellent academic record (E).
A suitable postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline will be advantageous (D).
High level proficiency in running computer simulations and/or development of Simulators (e.g. Matlab/ C++ / Java) (E).
Previous research publications in quality journals and/or conferences/workshops is highly desirable (D).
Candidate must demonstrate English language proficiency unless their first or Masters degree was taught in English (E).
Any team working experience is desirable (D).
