Stores Assistant, Mediclinic Middle East, Dubai

The Store Assistant is responsible to receive non-medical stock, physical check deliveries and unpack in Store. Stock orders made up for departments as per requisition, prepare goods receive notes and assist the Stores Coordinator.

Requirements

Licensing & Education
•Has completed secondary college level of education
•Physically fit
•Experience working in a hospital environment (Preferable)
•UAE driving license preferred

Skills/Abilities/Experience Required:
•Good skills with the Microsoft suite of products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
•Good communication skills in English
•Attention to details.
•Must be organized and understand processes and procedures
•Must have good interpersonal skills and good negotiation skills
•Must have problem solving skills
•Must have the ability to work within a multicultural team

Key Outputs
•Ensure that the goods received are placed in a secure environment.
•Actual stock received, checked against invoices and delivery note details.
•Stock unpacked and ensure items packed on shelves as per protocol.
•Stationery and printing stock issued as per Stores requisition process requirement (electronic and/or hard copy).
•Ensure that stock levels are maintained for all stationery, printing and other non-medical stock items.
•Track items requested from Non-medical Materials Department for non stock stationery items
•Purchase requisition form and requisition for capital expenditure registered on tracking system and forwarded to Non-medical materials department.
•Tasks performed in line with Mediclinic Middle East Non-Medical procurement process.
•Queries coordinated with user and Non Medical Materials department.
•User / requestor informed and deliveries directed accordingly.
•Follow up any invoice not received by the user/requestor
•Goods received note generated upon receipt of signed invoice by requestor / user (usually the manager of the department).
•Goods received note sent to Non-Medical Materials Department and registered in the Tracking System.
•System updated when for item movement ( consumption, issue and transfer )
•Orders made up for departments based on requisitions received.
•Stock issued to departments and convey out of stock situations.
•Business cards and rubber stamps ordered by units (MCH) and follow up done when necessary
•Conduct monthly stock take with the stores coordinator
