Web Analytics Officer – Etihad Airways – Uae

To identify insights by analyzing mobile and website activity using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Target, and Audience Manager.


Identify insights into digital performance by device and visit experience with web analytics tools. Candidate must be able to lead change informed by data insights
Strong knowledge of digital technologies and strong stakeholder management skills in order to provide insights on improving digital product performance
Meet with key stakeholders, understand their business needs, and create dashboards and alerts that results in measurable actions. Proactively monitor dashboards, investigate and communicate findings related to trends, research alarming data points, and make corrective recommendations
Merge online and offline customer data in order to identify insights and testing opportunities that provide unique digital experiences with measured increases in customer engagement
Implement innovative digital tracking solutions including overcoming barriers
Add value to the Testing Task Force by bringing data to the discussion. Ensure data-driven testing decisions are made
Monitor industry developments in site analytics and performance to ensure Hala is utilizing the most up-to-date tactics and tools
Accountable for pro-actively making data-driven testing recommendations that result in $5M USD in incremental revenue. Responsible for creating and executing A/B and multivariate tests that drive statistically significant improvements in customer engagement
Ability and desire to evangelize data-driven decision making
Translate data and dashboards into effective storytelling for influence


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, or economics. MSc. Preferred
Minimum of 8 years in web analytics and A/B testing with e-commerce business
Experience utilizing APIs is required. Making data flow improvements via R or Python is a plus
Must be very proactive and able to operate in a fast-paced agile environment and with multi-cultural teams


Expertise with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
Proficiency in data mining & analysis. Strong data visualization skills
Keen understanding of website development technologies and processes including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. R and Python programming skills are a plus
Proven track record of using strong analytical skills to transform data into insights and influencing decision makers to take action. Experience with Adobe Campaign Manager and big data tools such as Hadoop are a plus
