Duty Manager Airside Operations – Etihad Airways – Uae

To plan, coordinate, supervise and control the entire ground operation activities to ensure the safe, secure and on time departure of all Aircraft The position ensures that ground handling services are provided to all airline customers to the highest possible standard and in a manner that guarantees the safety and security of all persons,possessions, equipment and aircraft


To be responsible for the entire shift and it’s performance
To ensure service agreements are met to ensure the highest level of service is offered
Respond to all Ground Safety Reports and ensure recommendations are implemented
SOP to be maintained and adhered to within all departments.
Execute Performance Management for all employees ensuring performance is managed consistently.
Work in conjunction with training to ensure optimum skill levels exist to deliver an efficient operation.
Ensure resource is allocated in the right place, at the right time
Responsible for the safety and welfare of all employees to perform their roles. Ensure a Just Culture is promoted and implemented with the use of Etihad Safety Management System. They will ensure all staff are trained to perform their roles safely and through the use on reporting will identify and mitigate risks within the work environment.


Minimum high school education
At least 4 years’ experience working in airside activities.
Must have a UAE driving license and Must be trained on Airside Safety
Must be trained on Supervising Aircraft Handing
Must be trained on handling Airside Equipment such as ULD, dolly, trolley and in the use of other appropriate equipment
Have a good understanding of load control concepts and principles
