Director of Marketing and Communications – twofour54 – Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose
This role is defines, communicates and implements appropriate marketing strategies, policies, procedures and standards for the effective development and marketing of twofour54. Builds up and maintains the positioning of twofour54 as a leading media and production company. Manage and lead all the marketing efforts and initiatives of twofour54 and assist the growth and development of twofour54. Bears overall responsibility for the performance of the Marketing and Communications Department. Provides comprehensive leadership and direction to implement plans, policies and strategies for the effective, systematicOverall responsibility for establishing, developing and directing the Marketing function for twofour54.

Duties and Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for establishing, developing and directing the Marketing function for twofour54
Oversee and lead all Marketing activity on behalf of twofour54 both external and internally for both the twofour54 management and the partner community.
Plan the strategy and implementation of the Marketing department to ensure that all activities complement the activities of twofour54 and are in line with the overall image desired to meet the growth and expansion of the twofour54 overall strategy
Ensure all Marketing activity; planning and execution are at the highest levels (best in the industry).
Oversee and successfully manage third party relationships with relevant key creative, media, digital, technical training and communications companies to ensure objectives and desired outcomes are achieved and to ensure that twofour54 is receiving the best quality service and value.
Monitor effectiveness of campaigns and modifying as appropriate to achieve optimum results.
Accountable for on-time delivery of key twofour54 communication and activation initiatives across the MENA region and globally
Oversees entire operations in close cooperation with respective key executives and monitors and reviews key performance indicators
Build and manage the external twofour54 positioning, perception and vision.
Promote twofour54 purpose locally, regionally and internationally with all key stakeholders, potential partners and relevant media sources.
Ensure the commercial and strategic objectives of twofour54 are achieved.
Manages twofour54 brand value creation process at a wide organisation level ensuring that the twofour54 image is consistent across the departments
Manage stated budgets.
Provide leadership to the Marketing team in their development and the development of the Marketing functions within twofour54.
Build and develop Marketing and Commercial skills of the marketing team
Ensure that the team develops and operates with a culture of best practice that is sustainable.
Develop and monitor progress of UAE National staff.
Provide support as required to assist in the fulfilment of their roles.
Contribute to the twofour54 strategy development.
Conduct periodic reviews of work in progress with direct reports and compile monthly reports for senior management team.
Manage the long term development of the twofour54 brand and strategy, and ensure that all communications activities are in line with the agreed strategy

Minimum 10-12 years’ experience in a Blue Chip FMCG and Services Organization
Trade marketing and B2B experience also highly desirable
Proven record of successfully developing and leading high performance teams
Successful and demonstrable record of achievement in brand marketing.
Experience in pan territory communications management
Experience in leading teams and building and developing marketing units
Degree in marketing, pr and advertising or relevant subject
MBA or Masters in relevant subject preferable
