Officer – Statistics Production, CBUAE

To collect, process, and provide all CBUAE statistics in line with established procedures and excellence standards.

Accountabilities
 Assess the reliability and relevance of collected data to ensure that developed statistics are
relevant and useful to the target audience.
 Carry out statistics compilation and presentation of statistical data for dissemination.
 Participate in designing relevant worksheets, tables, and charts for the effective
communication of compiled statistical information.
 Maintain working knowledge and understanding of latest IMF and other international
organizations’ methodologies, ensuring adherence to any and all requirements in the
development of reports and bulletins.
 Participate in the preparation of statistical information related to exchange rates including
balance of payments and international investment position statistics, using both internal and
external data.
 Participate in the development of various surveys required by CBUAE including
Depository/financial corporations’ surveys, total lending expectation surveys, public perception
surveys, etc.
 Maintain working knowledge and understanding of statistical modeling and analysis of
software required to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the function.
 Perform any other duties within the scope of work.

Education & Experience Profile
 Bachelor Degree in Applied Statistics and/or Econometrics.
 2-4 years of experience with experience in a similar role.
 Working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and its
regulations.
 Proficient in the English language, Arabic would be an advantage.
