Responsible for finance operations of the company
Besides maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records, the job also includes, preparing monthly and annual financial accounts, reports and forecasts, managing the staff by distributing the work evenly in order to get the work done effectively and efficiently.
Main responsibilities included:
o Overall responsible for overseeing financial accounting, management accounting, cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
o Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement to finalize accounts on monthly basis through relevant financial reports; such as amortization, provisions and depreciation schedules.
o Presentation of MIS through reports through various MS excels techniques by using data base information across the business processes as required by the management.
o Manage General Ledger postings on timely basis to facilitate timely closing of monthly accounts
o Working capital management with key focus on monitoring & controlling receivables and payables as per ageing, inventories (valuation) and cash flows (accounting ratios)
o Auditing supplier’s invoices accurately through detecting and resolving discrepancies to timely manage of accounts payable
o Monitoring cash balances and petty cash management
o Maintenance of entity’s Fixed Assets registers through regular updating for asset additions, depreciations, and disposals.
o Preparations of bank reconciliation statements on monthly basis monitor banking transactions.
o Preparation of monthly payroll as per the WPS system
o Monitoring companys insurance policies either through timely renewals with insurance companies or through additions thereto and deletions.
o Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures and suggesting improvements from time to time.
